Chicago Native, Consuela Ivy was born and raised in a musical family. The soundtrack of her life was laced with elements of the classic sound of the 70's. She credits her parents for her love and respect for all things relating to the sound of music. Her early exposure to different musical artist is evident in her writing and vocal arrangement style. Her classical vocal training throughout her formative years lends notable flexibility in all live as well as studio performances. She honed her craft in college and became comfortable on stages across the world with an element of ease. She started writing poetry at an early age and found a gift for creating melodies.
